I’ve finally downloaded all my photos and videos from our vacation to the beach last week. Now that I’ve had time to go through all of them, I realize I didn’t take as much video as I thought I had. But I did put together a short movie from our bike ride to the Back Bay Nature Preserve that I discussed here.
While I was gone, I did my blog posts from my iPhone and it looks like the links to the Flickr photos may not have actually worked, so I thought I’d include a few photos in tonight’s post.
If you go to Virginia Beach, I’d highly recommend taking your bike to explore the Back Bay area. Here’s a map of our ride. It really was a fantastic ride. It’s not often that I get the opportunity to ride in an area where it’s peaceful, quiet and there are no urban street sounds. It was nice to hear nothing other than birds singing, the wind blowing, the sound of our bike tires crunching in the gravel paths and the moments of our conversation.
