Day 347: Cycling documentaries

16 12 2010

While poking around YouTube today I found trailers for several cycling movies I thought I’d share:

“Bicycle Dreams” – a 2009 documentary about the Race Across America. I’m not sure how I missed this film, but I’ll be adding it to my Netflix queue if it’s available:

“Where Are You Go: Cairo to Capetown by Bicycle” – another good film I’m unfamiliar with. Apparently part of the Bicycle Film Festival

“Chasing Legends” – I’ve been wanting to see this one since I heard about it earlier this year:

And of course, there’s “Ride the Divide” – another film I’d really like to see, which documents the 2,700-mile ride along the Continental Divide in the Rocky Mountains. And according to the end of the trailer, you can rent the video for $3.99 on YouTube and a portion of the fee will benefit LiveStrong.

Life’s a journey. Enjoy the ride!
